Bonus Blog Assignment for Oct. 4 - Oct. 8
This week's assignment is not required. However, if you choose to do this blog, you will have 5 points added to your next vocabulary quiz. In your opinion, what are some POSITIVE changes that could be made at our high school to make it even better than it already is? Make sure you are being constructive with your suggestions and advice. Think about academics, extra-curricular activities, relationships between students, relationships between students and teachers/staff, lunch room, class periods, class schedules, etc... Be creative and try to think outside the box. Maybe you've heard of something at another school that works. Write it down and together, let's make Cy-Woods like Snapple - "The best stuff just got better."

If I had the authority to change my school in a positive way, I would come up with extra-curricular activities that help other countries who need help. For example Haiti had a terrible hurricane a couple months ago and they needed our help for food and shelter. So I would come up with extra-curricular activities to collect donation for countries that needed our help. With all the changes for our school not only we can change our school and make it a better but I also can change the world that needed help.

In my opinion it owuld be better for the faculty and students. Is to make the days we take our class tests on Wednesday and Thursday, and make Thursday late arrival for all students. so they could recieve more sleep on the test days.

I believe that making the tardy policy less strict will actually help cypress woods and also the students. Students know rather take a absence than a tardy because of the repercussions of being tardy.

I think that the absence and tardy policy is a bit too harsh,i think that if we were able to come up with requirements everyone is willing to abide by then i think it would bring CyWoods a happier more positive outlook on students and staff.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with Mark Lamping,i believe that being less strict on tardy/absence policy will also help CyWoods.
I aslo agree with Patrik Hamilton,making test days on wednesdays and thursdays and having late arrival on thursdays so students and staff have the oppertunity to sleep in more would help greatly.
